We have spent years developing and training customized ML models and document processing components for our clients. We have consolidated and implemented this extensive expertise in ML engineering, modeling, and operations, and now offer it to you through smartextract at an affordable price

Axel Besinger
Product and Growth Lead
Axel is an experienced product specialist who excels in the development and market launch of innovative software solutions to solve complex business problems. He has extensive experience in both product management and business development. He holds a Master's degree in Digital Media Technology from TU Ilmenau, providing him with a solid understanding of both the technical and business aspects of product development.
Augusto Stoffel
Technical Lead
Augusto studied computer science in Brazil and earned a PhD in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame, USA. Before his time at dida, he was a postdoctoral researcher in Bonn and Greifswald, conducting research in the field of algebraic topology and its application as a foundation for quantum field theory.
Pier Giorgio Rayme
MLScientist
Pier studied mathematics in Bologna and Bonn, completing his studies with a thesis on homotopy theory. His interest in the philosophy of language and topological data analysis (TDA) led him to explore the mathematical foundations of machine learning and intriguing applications of TDA in the field of NLP. In addition to his work at dida, he is pursuing a second master's degree in Cognitive Systems in Potsdam.
Mariangela Rita Filardi
Frontend Lead
Mariangela, with her background as a translator and a fresh passion for programming, brings a unique perspective to frontend development. By adhering to key principles such as responsive layouts, smooth user interactions, and accessibility, she actively contributes to the precise execution of every project. Mariangela is dedicated to reshaping user interactions with our software, placing equal emphasis on functionality and a pleasant user experience.
Mary Garabeit
ML Scientist
Mary is a student of Computational Engineering Science at TU Berlin with experience in data analysis and a strong interest in machine learning, NLP, and cloud computing. Alongside her studies, she supports the smartextract team.
